What we truly want as parents is for our children to feel loved.
Parents
Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding human experiences we can undertake – it is also one of the most challenging. We love our children, yet there are some days when we just want to throw our hands in the air and give up. Sometimes we just do not know why our children are behaving the way they are. What are all these tantrums about? Why won't my child mind me? I know my child is smart, but why are they failing in school? Sometimes we blame ourselves. Maybe I am a bad parent? And often we simply feel overwhelmed.
All these problems and fears can be amplified during a child's teen years. It can be a tough time for everyone. But it doesn't have to be. At SAY we have programs for parents that can help them not just cope with being a parent or becoming a better parent, but can help them be a happier, more loving parent. Because what we truly want as parents is for our children to feel loved.
